I enjoy the concept of your poster, but the visuals seem a bit off. Your globe suggests that China is the only land form, and the planes are travelling from the middle of the ocean. You do a good job at sectioning the information, however since its a poster I would find a way to reduce the amount of text. I really think you’d find this tutorial helpful in creating a more realistic globe in illustrator:

I used it to add a three-dimensional look to my poster. I really think your idea is great, it just needs more development graphics-wise.
